Application/DevOps Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage the lifecycle of shared application platforms including Kubernetes clusters and Jenkins infrastructure.
• Operate enterprise Jenkins as a service with strong tenancy isolation and RBAC.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms for internal applications and CI/CD workloads.
• Define and enforce platform standards, guardrails, and best practices for application onboarding.
• Drive automation-first operations for provisioning, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of platform components.
• Implement secure-by-default architectures including secrets management, certificate handling, and network controls.
• Ensure high platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and incident response.
• Improve platform scalability, performance, and developer experience continuously.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of IT experience, or 5+ years of experience without a degree.
• Must have strong experience in Linux system administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and OS-level security hardening.
• Must have hands-on expertise with Docker containerization, including image lifecycle management, Dockerfile authoring, and runtime troubleshooting.
• Must have deep understanding of Kubernetes platform operations, including cluster architecture, Helm deployments, and lifecycle management.
• Must have proven experience administering Jenkins infrastructure at scale, including multi-tenant CI environments and container-based agents.
• Must have hands-on experience with monitoring platforms like Splunk or Datadog and experience provisioning AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Must be able to build automation using Shell or Python and have experience with Git-based version control.
• Practical experience with platform engineering in large enterprises, IaC tools like Terraform, or service meshes like Istio (preferred).
