What you'll do

  • Lead the design, architecture, and hands-on development of a scalable agentic AI platform from concept to production.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for selecting frameworks, technologies, and infrastructure components.
  • Write code and build prototypes while providing direct technical mentorship to the engineering team.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and define the product roadmap with stakeholders.
  • Drive the strategy for integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic frameworks like LangChain or Google ADK.
  • Implement enterprise-grade engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ensure all platform components comply with banking industry standards for data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and report on key performance indicators regarding platform adoption and impact on business outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience as a "player-coach" who can lead teams while contributing to the codebase and mentoring others.
  • Experience designing and launching scalable, distributed, cloud-native platforms from the ground up.
  • Expertise in building production-grade agentic systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and frameworks like LangChain or Google ADK.
  • Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python, Go, and managing microservices with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and data technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and vector stores.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align technical vision with business goals.
