What you'll do

Convert complex, disparate data sets into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions.
Develop algorithms and systems using various tools and frameworks to solve global challenges.
Perform data exploration, cleaning, analysis, mining, and visualization on structured and unstructured data.
Build and document predictive data models and quantitative analyses for targeted data sources.
Translate poorly defined problems into specific questions with practical quantitative solutions.
Conduct quantitative social science research, including survey design and laboratory experiments.
Provide clients with a deep understanding of data meaning and practical applications.
Compose high-quality documentation, analysis, and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, mining, decision analysis, or modeling and simulation.
3+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, such as Python or R.
Experience developing and documenting predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources.
Experience conducting quantitative social science, including survey design and analysis or field or laboratory experiments, in a professional work environment.
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, AI, or machine learning.
7+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, AI, or machine learning in lieu of a degree.
Master’s degree in Quantitative Social Science preferred; Doctorate degree in Quantitative Social Science a plus (preferred).
