What you'll do

  • Lead a cross-functional team to develop and sustain COTS and internally developed software and hardware.
  • Manage the full systems engineering development lifecycle for scalable products.
  • Oversee requirements management and utilize system modeling tools to guide development.
  • Manage project costs, schedules, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Implement mature testing philosophies and spiral development for fielded products.
  • Negotiate with customers to meet challenging requirements with win-win solutions.
  • Identify and apply AI opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle (preferred).
  • Software development/deployment experience (preferred).
  • Experience with mature testing philosophies (preferred).
  • Cost/Schedule/EVMS management experience (preferred).
