AIML Privacy Engineering Rotation

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end measurement systems that maintain high utility while meeting strict privacy standards.
• Build privacy-preserving technologies specifically for measurement and machine learning applications.
• Communicate system design tradeoffs, privacy risks, and potential mitigations to senior leadership to drive decision-making.
• Analyze system architectures to identify potential privacy impacts and suggest technical mitigations.
• Research new technologies and use cases rapidly to assess exposure and propose solutions.
• Perform hands-on software engineering and privacy engineering tasks across two different internal teams.

What we're looking for

• A BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong software engineering skills and the ability to solve complex problems independently are required.
• Experience with differential privacy or private federated learning is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are required.
• A passion for customer privacy is required.
• Real-world experience implementing privacy, trust, or security measures in a shipped consumer product or service is preferred.
• Participation in public standards forums or academic publications in privacy and machine learning is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze system architectures for privacy impact and research new technologies rapidly is preferred.
