What you'll do

  • Shape safety policies for global generative AI products in partnership with leadership and legal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver technical solutions for machine learning research at the intersection of emerging technologies and real-world use cases.
  • Perform thoughtful data sampling, creation, and curation for evaluation datasets.
  • Create high-quality, detailed annotations to assess feature performance.
  • Implement auto-grading systems to evaluate model outputs.
  • Analyze evaluation results to determine their impact on the user experience.
  • Address fairness and bias issues in generative AI systems to ensure equitable technology.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning, including work with generative models (Transformers, LLMs, VLMs), NLP, or Computer Vision.
  • At least 4 years of research or product deployment record in responsible AI areas.
  • Publications in top ML venues such as ACL, CHI, CVPR, EMNLP, FAccT, ICML, Interspeech, NeurIPS, or UIST.
  • Strong research fundamentals and development methodologies regarding LLMs, foundation models, and diffusion models.
  • Experience working with generative models for evaluation and product development, including knowledge of common challenges and failures.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience working specifically in the Responsible AI space.
  • Proven success contributing in highly cross-functional environments and shipping complex AI systems at global scale.
