The AI Software Program Manager, SR is a key member of the Central PMO within the Technology Planning and Edge Solutions group. This role focuses on AI/ML technologies for software products across various business units. The manager leads efforts in scoping, planning, and managing the execution of AI/ML software deliverables across SoC platforms and programs. Daily responsibilities include driving program alignment, managing requirements priority, tracking schedule trends against baselines, and establishing rigorous communication processes for risk management and executive reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical understanding of AI/ML technology and software development principles within the SoC and embedded industry. They will utilize skills in end-to-end product integration, negotiation, and consensus building while utilizing program management tools like dashboards and Gantt charts to manage complex dependencies across multiple technical teams.
Manage the execution of AI/ML software deliverables across various SoC platforms and programs.
Drive program alignment and execution across multiple technical teams and technologies.
Lead scoping and planning by identifying interdependencies, staffing constraints, and schedule optimizations.
Establish Plan of Records commitments in partnership with Product Management and Engineering teams.
Implement rigorous execution discipline including risk management, mitigation plans, and executive reporting.
Develop program indicators to monitor and manage project health, quality, and timelines.
Create processes to streamline the development cycle and integrate multiple project dependencies.
Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus on development schedules and requirements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
3 to 7 years of experience in technical product development and program management in the SoC/embedded industry.
Strong technical understanding of AI/ML technology and software development principles in the SoC/embedded industry.
Experience managing products through the entire development life cycle, including risk management and end-to-end integration.
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
PMP Certification (preferred).
7+ years of Program Management experience, interaction with senior leadership, work in a matrixed organization, and use of program management tools (all preferred).
