What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot scripts, services, APIs, and automation tools using Python.
  • Develop AI-enabled workflows and LLM-assisted solutions to improve cyber and mission operations.
  • Integrate systems and data using REST/HTTP APIs and various cloud or enterprise data stores.
  • Translate complex mission requirements into concrete technical tasks and actionable implementation plans.
  • Produce technical documentation, design notes, and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure all software development aligns with RMF standards and secure engineering practices in classified environments.
  • Manage code through version control, peer reviews, and automated testing protocols.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, integration, or automation in a professional environment.
  • Experience using Python for developing, testing, and debugging services, automation, and data utilities.
  • Experience integrating APIs and working with relational, document, or NoSQL stores.
  • Experience delivering in small teams using Agile/Kanban methodologies, Git, and code review practices.
  • Experience with cloud or enterprise deployment patterns or on-prem integration environments.
  • Ability to translate mission and security requirements into technical tasks and explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Experience designing AI/ML or LLM-enabled architectures and workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with RAG, vector search, or frameworks like LangChain or OpenAI Agents SDK (preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks or Palantir Foundry (preferred).
  • TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
