What you'll do

Clarify mission objectives, technical constraints, and security boundaries through discussions with stakeholders.
Shape technical approaches, tradeoff analyses, and phased implementation plans for software solutions.
Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot scripts, APIs, and AI-enabled automation workflows.
Integrate systems and data using REST/HTTP APIs, data stores, and cloud patterns.
Produce technical artifacts such as design notes and operational implications for diverse audiences.
Align all development with RMF controls, secure engineering practices, and cyber security requirements.
Maintain code quality using version control, peer reviews, and lightweight testing practices.

What we're looking for

4+ years of experience in software development, integration, or automation in a professional environment.
Experience using Python for developing, testing, and debugging services, automation, and data or integration utilities.
Experience integrating APIs and working with relational, document, or NoSQL stores while tracing failures across components.
Experience delivering in small teams using Agile or Kanban with Git and code review norms.
Experience with cloud or enterprise deployment patterns or on-prem integration environments.
Ability to translate mission or security requirements into technical tasks and explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
Experience designing AI/ML or LLM-enabled architectures, including model selection and workflow design (preferred).
Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, or frameworks like LangChain or OpenAI Agents SDK (preferred).
Experience with enterprise data platforms like Databricks or Palantir Foundry (preferred).
TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technology field (preferred).
