What you'll do

Participate in discussions with mission partners to clarify objectives, constraints, and security boundaries.
Contribute to technical approaches, tradeoff analyses, and implementation plans for software solutions.
Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot scripts, services, APIs, and AI-enabled automation workflows.
Integrate systems and data using REST/HTTP APIs and enterprise or cloud patterns.
Produce technical artifacts such as design notes, operational implications, and security-relevant behavior documentation.
Align all development work with RMF controls, secure engineering practices, and authorization requirements.
Maintain code quality using version control, peer review practices, and lightweight testing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
Ability to obtain DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire.
Experience in a technical role in an academic or professional work environment.
Experience integrating an API or service such as REST or automating a repeatable workflow using authored or extended code.
Experience using Git in a professional role, class, or internship.
Ability to write, test, and debug code in Python.
Experience designing AI/ML or LLM-enabled architectures, including model selection and workflow design (preferred).
Secret clearance.
