As an AI Led Forward Deployed Engineer within the Design & Digital Products team, you will embed with product teams to originate, design, and ship AI-powered digital products into production. You will identify high-value use cases, move from concept through prototyping, and build full-stack systems including RAG architecture, agentic orchestration, prompt engineering, and evals. The role requires technical expertise in LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, and MCP integration while navigating trade-offs between fine-tuning via LoRA or PEFT versus prompt engineering across models like Claude, Gemini, GPT, Llama, and Mistral. You will activate AI within existing enterprise data platforms using data-gravity patterns and manage MLOps, security, and cost discipline. This role solves the challenge of transforming raw AI capabilities into production-ready products that drive measurable business value for customers and employees through a product-led approach.
Identify high-value AI use cases and prioritize them based on measurable business impact before project briefs exist.
Design and build end-to-end AI systems including RAG architecture, agentic orchestration, prompt engineering, and guardrails.
Select optimal models and techniques by balancing cost, latency, accuracy, and compliance requirements.
Integrate AI products into existing enterprise data platforms using data-gravity patterns to avoid infrastructure re-architecting.
Develop full-stack AI products and ship production-ready code rather than just providing recommendations or prototypes.
Manage the deployment of AI models with a focus on MLOps, security, and cost/latency discipline.
Codify best-practice delivery patterns based on field learnings to ensure repeatable service delivery.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of AI & Data experience including solutioning, designing, or delivering projects with hands-on GenAI features like RAG and agentic workflows.
Minimum 3 years of high-value consulting experience with proven ability to lead workstreams and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Experience building full-stack AI products that include production-ready code, MLOps, model serving, and security protocols.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and demonstrate strong program management, verbal, and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial ability to originate new deals, lead go-to-market activities, and build effective teams.
Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI Foundry, or Databricks Mosaic AI (preferred).
Working fluency with GenAI frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex and orchestration tools like CrewAI or AutoGen (preferred).
Ability to make model judgments regarding fine-tuning versus prompt engineering based on cost, latency, accuracy, and compliance (preferred).
