AI Engineering Specialist

What you'll do

• Develop internal platforms, frameworks, and reusable libraries for generative AI and large language model integrations.
• Design and implement build, deployment, evaluation, and monitoring pipelines for AI applications.
• Provide engineering teams with best practices for prompt engineering, RAG, and scalable AI development.
• Integrate AI solutions with APIs, microservices, enterprise applications, and data platforms.
• Define and document technical standards, architectural guidelines, and governance models for AI adoption.
• Create toolkits and templates to help teams develop AI-powered solutions faster and more consistently.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience using Python or a similar programming language.
• 2+ years of experience developing APIs, microservices, and systems integrations.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with pipelines, workflow automation, and CI/CD practices.
• 1+ year of experience with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or AI agents (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience building or evolving internal engineering platforms (preferred).
• Experience with 1 or more orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster (preferred).
• Must not reside in Colorado, California, DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine, or Washington.
