Associate AI Engineer, Data Analytics & AI

What you'll do

• Shadow live workflows and engage with power users to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
• Translate observed workflow friction into a prioritized pipeline of self-service wins and large-scale initiatives.
• Develop and maintain production software solutions using Python and SQL while ensuring code quality and security.
• Deploy applications using industry-standard tools including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Terraform.
• Build and extend applied AI solutions such as agentic workflows, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation tooling.
• Create and release self-service runbooks and prompt libraries to scale AI adoption across the firm.
• Lead training sessions and talks to promote a culture of data science and AI for both technical and business teams.
• Transition proofs of concept into supported production deployments while managing multiple concurrent projects.

What we're looking for

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
• Have 3+ years of experience in AI engineering, software engineering, or data analysis.
• Demonstrate fluency in Python and SQL for interacting with data and data warehouses.
• Possess applied experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and retrieval pipelines.
• Show experience shipping and maintaining production systems under real user load rather than just prototypes.
• Proficiency in software development tools including version control, CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (Terraform).
• Experience working with non-technical business stakeholders to elicit requirements and shape solutions.
• Experience working within a technology team for a financial firm is preferred.
