AI Engineer, Associate, Data Analytics & AI

What you'll do

• Shadow live business workflows to identify friction points and translate them into a prioritized development pipeline.
• Develop and maintain production software solutions using Python and SQL while ensuring scalability and security.
• Deploy software using industry best practices including Git, CI/CD tooling, Docker, and Terraform.
• Build and extend applied AI solutions such as agentic workflows, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation tooling.
• Create and release self-service runbooks and prompt libraries to scale AI adoption across the business.
• Transition proofs of concept into supported production deployments while managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead training sessions and talks to promote a culture of data science and AI within the firm.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in an AI engineering, software engineering, or data analysis role.
• Fluency in Python and SQL for interacting with data and data warehouses.
• Applied experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, retrieval, or model evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience shipping and maintaining production systems under real user load.
• Proficiency in version control, CI/CD tools, containerization, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Experience working within a technology team for a financial firm (preferred for alternative asset management, private wealth, or fund distribution).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong communication skills to elicit requirements from non-technical stakeholders and author documentation for various audiences.
