Associate Data Analyst, Private Equity Technology

What you'll do

• Develop analytical tools and software solutions using Python and SQL to support investment operations.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline deal diligence and portfolio monitoring workflows.
• Lead the intake and refinement of technology requests related to data flows and business processes.
• Conduct business analysis and stakeholder sessions to improve modeling and asset management efficiency.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data used in AI and analytics, ensuring compliance and security.
• Document best practices and standard operating procedures for global and regional teams.
• Promote a culture of data science by leading training sessions and talks for internal teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment workflows using version control and cloud technologies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a data analysis or data science role.
• Fluency in Python and SQL for interacting with data and data warehouses.
• Experience working within a technology team for a financial firm (preferred: alternative asset management and real estate).
• Advanced analytical skills including statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Sigma and Tableau.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both business and technical coworkers and author documentation.
