As an Advanced ILS Specialist for Intelligence Systems, you will join a cross-functional Integrated Product Team to provide integrated logistics support for unique mechanical and structural systems. Working within small technical teams, you will collaborate with leads to develop technical solutions from the concept level through operational use. Your daily responsibilities include supporting engineers with various logistics, sustainment, and technical tasks involving specialized tools, hardware components, assemblies, and prototypes. You will apply expertise in Acquisition Logistics and Integrated Logistics Support elements, including supply support, maintenance planning, technical manuals, training equipment, and reliability, maintainability, and availability. The role requires proficiency in military and commercial requirements while addressing the challenge of designing for supportability. Key skills include knowledge of PHS&T, design interface, and engineering standards to solve complex problems within the intelligence systems domain.
Provide integrated logistics support for unique mechanical and structural systems.
Coordinate with Integrated Product Team leads to complete assigned tasks.
Support engineers with a wide range of logistics, sustainment, and technical support activities.
Develop technical solutions from the concept level through operational environments.
Manage ILS elements including supply support, maintenance planning, and technical manuals.
Influence design for supportability and plan infrastructure for system support.
Oversee packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of hardware components.
Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
Proficiency in Acquisition Logistics and knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
Knowledge of military/commercial requirements and specifications.
TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred.
Experience supporting mechanical or civil engineering projects with hardware prototype construction is preferred.
Familiarity with building codes and engineering standards is preferred.
