Acoustics Engineering Project Manager, Microphone

What you'll do

• Manage and communicate technology roadmaps, project definitions, and development schedules for microphone modules.
• Drive the closure of architecture and technical issues during early stages of product development.
• Plan and manage engineering builds by coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Identify and highlight technical or schedule risks to develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead day-to-day activities and run reviews among engineering stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Oversee the qualification planning of microphone modules for successful product deployment.
• Manage international manufacturing partners to ensure component designs are executed on schedule.

What we're looking for

• A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics is required.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience shipping high-volume products or collaborating with manufacturing partners is required.
• Knowledge of technology and product development cycles is required.
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, advanced manufacturing, MEMS devices, ASIC development, or semiconductor assembly is desired.
• Experience driving international module or component design and manufacturing partners to execute programs on schedule is essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required to collaborate and motivate team members.
• Ability to manage rapid development cycles while distilling relevant information for various audiences is preferred.
