WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a Lead Systems Administrator to act as the technical escalation point for our Service Desk and to own the reliability, security, and operational excellence of our IT services. In this role, you will lead incident response, perform deep root cause analysis, and proactively improve systems through automation and process improvements. You will also serve as a mentor and subject matter expert across multiple IT domains.

Main responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for the Service Desk to investigate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Own the maintenance, configuration, availability, and business continuity of core IT services
  • Act as Incident Manager or partner closely with Incident Management during service outages, and security incidents, ensuring clear and timely communication to the business
  • Identify recurring issues, define corrective actions, and implement long-term solutions
  • Provide advanced support for Google Workspace, including email delivery, permissions, security issues, and service integrations
  • Support escalated issues across Zscaler, macOS, networking, Google Workspace, and Okta
  • Troubleshoot and maintain integrations of IT SaaS such as; Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zscaler and Iru
  • Serve as Tier 3 support for macOS, hardware, and network-related issues
  • Design, write, and maintain custom scripts or applications to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Create and maintain IT documentation and contribute to the Knowledge Base
  • Manage vendor relationships for IT services and tools
  • Investigate and remediate security-related issues across Gmail, Slack, and Okta
  • Mentor team members and promote IT best practices across the organization

WHO YOU ARE

  • A hands-on problem solver who takes ownership and strives for operational excellence
  • Experienced in supporting SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Iru, and other enterprise IT services, including API-based administration
  • Knowledgeable in virtualization and cloud environments (AWS, VMware, or equivalent)
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, and/or Ruby
  • Comfortable using tools such as Jira, Git, and GAM
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and improving IT services
  • Strong understanding of IT operations best practices, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing work based on impact and urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including familiarity with the OSI model
  • Familiar with software development lifecycle principles

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,700-$127,900/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $120,800-$142,100/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Platform Engineering Manager leads a team of highly skilled engineers tasked with building and managing a robust, automated platform that abstracts infrastructure complexities and enables seamless application deployment and operations. This role combines technical leadership, engineering management, and product management expertise to deliver platform services that align with organizational needs and provide exceptional value to internal customers.

This manager is responsible for defining and executing a vision for platform services as products, including gathering requirements, prioritizing work based on business value, and ensuring adoption and satisfaction among engineering teams. Collaboration with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is critical to embedding reliability practices and achieving operational excellence.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and People Management:

  2. Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of platform engineers (Platform Software Engineers and Platform Infrastructure Engineers)

  4. Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning to support team member growth and engagement
  5. Product Management for Platform Services:

  8. Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility

  11. Technical Strategy and Decision-Making:

  18. Ensure a seamless partnership between platform engineers and SREs to drive a culture of operational excellence
  19. Operational Excellence:

  20. Implement and advocate for processes that reduce operational toil and increase team efficiency

  21. Lead incident management efforts, including response coordination and post-mortem reviews, to improve reliability
  22. Ensure all platform services meet high availability, fault tolerance, and security standards
  23. Execution and Delivery:

  24. Manage multiple concurrent projects using sound project management principles to ensure timely delivery

  25. Establish and track success metrics, milestones, and timelines for team initiatives
  26. Drive a continuous improvement mindset within the team, iterating on processes and platform capabilities

WHO YOU ARE

Experience:

  • 5-7+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or a related field with increasing responsibility
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Strong track record of owning and delivering platform services that drive significant business value
  • Hands-on experience with building and scaling internal platforms, ideally with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines

Skills:

  • Strong product management capabilities, including gathering requirements, defining user stories, and managing feature prioritization

As a Technical Architect and part of our Expert Services organization at Braze, you will serve as a highly technical resource, responsible for delivering outcome-based technical services and bespoke technical solutions across all stages of the customer lifecycle. Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Consultant, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of technical experience managing complex customer environments with a strong product command and deep technical domain knowledge of SaaS, Mobile, APIs, and Programming.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact, custom technical engagements that drive tangible outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Technical Architect and part of our Expert Services organization at Braze, you will serve as a highly technical resource, responsible for delivering outcome-based technical services and bespoke technical solutions across all stages of the customer lifecycle. You will own and drive complex technical projects and workstreams to successful completion, specializing in architecting integrations, sophisticated data strategies, and customer-centric use case design to unlock the full value of the Braze Platform.

As a Technical Architect, you will be a key driving force of technical and product expertise, working alongside Sales, Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, Delivery Managers, Partners, Product and Engineering, and Technical Support. You will be responsible for rapidly understanding each client’s business and technical requirements, helping them achieve fast time-to-value from their investment in Braze. You will also help clients tailor Braze’s product to their needs by effectively articulating and positioning the value of Braze via workshops, meetings, written communication, and general consultation. This is a highly technical, customer-obsessed role, leveraging Braze's functionality to help our customers achieve key business outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Customer Obsessed

  • Serve as a trusted, deeply technical advisor, owning the projects and workstreams of technical strategy at any stage across the customer lifecycle from initial architecture through ongoing optimization and beyond.
  • Design and implement bespoke, complex technical solutions and integrations that meet unique customer needs and drive tangible business value.
  • Act as a technical conduit between Braze and the customer’s product and engineering teams.
  • Build best-in-class solutions and document those for future automation and iterative deployment.
  • Ensure all designed solutions adhere to security best practices, compliance regulations, and architectural standards.

  • Design comprehensive technical implementation plans, solutions and architectures, and scopes of work for paid engagements, aligning with both customer requirements and Braze best practices.
  • Facilitate and support technical aspects of customer onboarding and complex SDK/API integrations, ensuring product completeness and maximizing time to value.
  • Consultatively address advanced use cases, translating strategic solutions into actionable technical steps and architectural diagrams for customers.
  • Understand the in-depth customer goals, use cases, and KPIs for each assigned project, driving continued customer value through technical maturity and strategic adoption of the platform.

Technical Solutioning, Resolution & Empowerment

  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for complex strategic technical needs reported by customers during paid implementation and throughout their lifecycle.
  • Instill best practices and engineering excellence by internally validating technical feasibility for product launches and ensuring high-quality instrumentation across the customer stack.
  • Document technical requirements, bespoke customer integrations, and risks/blockers, communicating effectively with account teams, customers, partners, and/or internal teams to drive positive outcomes.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Consultant, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of technical experience managing complex customer environments with a strong product command and deep technical domain knowledge of SaaS, Mobile, APIs, and Programming.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact, custom technical engagements that drive tangible outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $99,450 - $112,500/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $110,500-125,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As our customer base continues to grow with the excitement around BrazeAI, we’re expanding our team! Join our Forward-Deployed Data Scientist group of creative technical experts who partner with customers to ensure their success. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with customer Analytics/BI teams and Braze colleagues on implementations, including use case definition, data integration, pipeline setup, and ML model configuration
  • Extend product capabilities by improving architecture and developing reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components
  • Work closely with the RL pipeline development team to refine and advance our reinforcement learning (self-learning) algorithms

WHO YOU ARE

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As our customer base continues to grow with the excitement around BrazeAI, we’re expanding our team! Join our Forward-Deployed Data Scientist group of creative technical experts who partner with customers to ensure their success. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with customer Analytics/BI teams and Braze colleagues on implementations, including use case definition, data integration, pipeline setup, and ML model configuration
  • Extend product capabilities by improving architecture and developing reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components
  • Work closely with the RL pipeline development team to refine and advance our reinforcement learning (self-learning) algorithms
  • Contribute to shaping BrazeAI's product strategy and roadmap through customer-facing insights and technical expertise
  • Provide ongoing technical expertise to ensure successful adoption, measurable outcomes, and long-term customer success

WHO YOU ARE

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical discipline preferred
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role working with large-scale data and production environments. Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles is strongly preferred

The AI Success Manager is a critical individual contributor role on our growing AI Success team to ensure Braze customers are highly successful with the product. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with different teams, internally and externally, to drive renewals, upsells, and expansions. You’ll oversee the design and execution of Braze use cases, working closely with customers to identify future use cases, and own executive-level relationships. You will also contribute significantly to the Braze product development process and act as the voice of our customers. Finally, given the analytical nature of Braze’s product and use cases, you will conduct analysis of results and build compelling presentations to communicate customer insights, troubleshoot issues, and showcase Braze’s value proposition.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the Principal AI Success Manager to build meaningful relationships across our customers' organizations
  • Work with implementation and data science teams to drive the success of AI use cases with our customers
  • Work closely with the Braze sales team to drive renewals & upsell opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' business context and pain points to facilitate the strategic mapping of Braze's value proposition
  • Serve as strategic partners to guide our customers in maximizing business value from their use of Braze
  • Conduct analyses (including using Excel and SQL) and provide data-driven presentations on Braze’s business impact, use case insights, and guide customers through troubleshooting
  • Synthesize and communicate stories based on customer insights
  • Communicate customer needs to Braze’s product & marketing teams to ensure a customer-centric product roadmap

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $157,400.00 - $185,100.00 /year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $189,600.00 - $223,000.00/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full and part-time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.

The AI Success Manager is a critical individual contributor role on our growing AI Success team to ensure Braze customers are highly successful with the product. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with different teams, internally and externally, to drive renewals, upsells, and expansions. You’ll oversee the design and execution of Braze use cases, working closely with customers to identify future use cases, and own executive-level relationships. You will also contribute significantly to the Braze product development process and act as the voice of our customers. Finally, given the analytical nature of Braze’s product and use cases, you will conduct analysis of results and build compelling presentations to communicate customer insights, troubleshoot issues, and showcase Braze’s value proposition.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the Principal AI Success Manager to build meaningful relationships across our customers' organizations
  • Work with implementation and data science teams to drive the success of AI use cases with our customers
  • Work closely with the Braze sales team to drive renewals & upsell opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' business context and pain points to facilitate the strategic mapping of Braze's value proposition
  • Serve as strategic partners to guide our customers in maximizing business value from their use of Braze
  • Conduct analyses (including using Excel and SQL) and provide data-driven presentations on Braze’s business impact, use case insights, and guide customers through troubleshooting
  • Synthesize and communicate stories based on customer insights
  • Communicate customer needs to Braze’s product & marketing teams to ensure a customer-centric product roadmap

  • 20% travel to customers is expected

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $157,400.00 - $185,100.00 /year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $189,600.00 - $223,000.00/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full and part-time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
