Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.
Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.
About the role:
We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator based in San Francisco to join our global Recruiting Operations team. You will be the engine behind our hiring machine, managing all aspects of the interview process. This role requires a unique blend of executive presence and extreme attention to detail. While Samsara embraces flexibility, this specific role requires an on-site presence at our San Francisco office 3 times per week to facilitate in-person interviews for our Software Engineering teams, ensuring a white-glove experience for our technical talent.
You should apply if:
- You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts result in real-world impact—helping keep the lights on and ensuring workers return home safely.
- You are the architect of your own career: We set our employees up for success and encourage rapid career development in a hyper-growth environment.
- You live by operational excellence: You don’t just follow a process; you perfect it. You find energy in the "how" just as much as the "what."
- You want to be with the best: You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.
In this role you will:
- Manage high complexity operations and logistics in partnership with executives and remote recruiters. Your role is to look around corners to spot risks, respond with urgency and high judgement with last minute pivots in scheduling, and manage complex calendars in partnership with executive assistants.
- Confidently shepherd the onsite experience for technical talent in the SF office, including providing memorable experiences for in-person candidates and interacting with the most senior level leaders at Samsara – managing their calendars and attendance in partnership with EAs.
- Work across Greenhouse, Slack, Google Calendar, Text, et. to ensure a seamless candidate experience and successful onsite interview days.
- Use polished written and verbal communication to facilitate the interview experience for candidates and executives.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Ability to commute to the San Francisco office 3 times weekly for in-person interview days, with high variance in schedule depending upon candidate scheduling.
- 1–3 years in recruiting, HR, or executive admin support
- Proficiency with ATS tools (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and/or detailed scheduling and project management tools leveraged to coordinate events and executive calendars
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end travel coordination for executives or teams
- Prior experience handing complex corporate scheduling logistics on behalf of c-level stakeholders
- Experience planning corporate executive-level events with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail
An ideal candidate also has:
- A proven track record of improving processes rather than just following them.
- Experience coordinating for technical or engineering teams.

About the role:
Samsara is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our growing Developer Experience organization. In this role, you will lead the Operational Excellence and Release Management teams, responsible for building and scaling the core tooling that powers Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud.
This work sits on the critical path of both product velocity and customer experience. Your team will define and deliver the visibility, metrics, and control planes that enable engineering teams to understand service health, detect issues early, and continuously improve reliability. You will also own the release infrastructure and workflows that ensure features are shipped safely, predictably, and at scale.

- You want to build for scale: With over 2.3 million IoT devices deployed to our global customers, you will work on a range of new and mature technologies driving scalable innovation for customers across industries driving the world's physical operations.
- You are a life-long learner: We have ambitious goals. Every Samsarian has a growth mindset as we work with a wide range of technologies, challenges, and customers that push us to learn on the go.
- You believe customers are more than a number: Samsara engineers enjoy a rare closeness to the end user and you will have the opportunity to participate in customer interviews, collaborate with customer success and product managers, and use metrics to ensure our work is translating into better customer outcomes.
- You are a team player: Working on our Samsara Engineering teams requires a mix of independent effort and collaboration. Motivated by our mission, we’re all racing toward our connected operations vision, and we intend to win—together.
Click here to learn about what we value at Samsara.
In this role, you will:
- Leading the engineering team, shaping engineering culture, and providing technical guidance
- Building infrastructure to ensure reliability of Samsara’s connected operations cloud under high loads
- Developing tooling for product teams to self-service and own operation of their services and storage in responsive and cost-effective ways
- Creating abstractions for developers to understand their services health and adopt best practices to deliver the best customer experience in the industry
- Actively contributing to building the roadmap for infrastructure at Samsara
- Championing, role modeling, and embedding Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
- Hiring, developing, and leading an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
Our backend is written in Golang, runs on AWS, and is deployed using Terraform, though direct experience with these technologies is not required.
An ideal candidate has:

Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations.
Samsara is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II to join our Operational Excellence (OPX) team within the Developer Experience organization.
DevEx is responsible for the engineering environment that a globally distributed engineering org relies on every day, from build and deploy systems to development tooling and AI-assisted workflows that help teams move quickly and confidently.
Within DevEx, the Operational Excellence (OPX) team is the group that keeps production healthy at scale.
We provide engineering teams the platform capabilities, observability tooling, automated safeguards, incident management tooling, and safe feature release systems they need to deliver highly available systems, ship features with confidence, and investigate and mitigate incidents faster.
OPX is focused on raising the bar for system stability, resilience, and reliability across Samsara -- building automated safeguards that protect production, ensuring engineers get the right signals at the right time, and giving teams the visibility they need to stay in control of their services. We're also investing in AI-driven operational tooling and partnering directly with product engineering teams to strengthen their operational posture.
