Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software solutions to meet project requirements.
• Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language following established standards.
• Use approved AI development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Validate and critically evaluate all AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, correctness, and security.
• Apply automation and modern tooling across the software development life cycle to improve efficiency.
• Document technical solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Solve open-ended or ambiguous problems by breaking work into steps and iterating based on feedback.

What we're looking for

• Pursue a Bachelor’s or 5th-year Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, IT, Data Science, AI, Big Data, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date must be between July 2026 and June 2027 with availability to start full-time work in July 2027.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting software solutions as part of an engineering team.
• Proficiency writing secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language following established standards.
• Ability to apply automation and modern tooling across the software development life cycle.
• Ability to use and critically evaluate AI development tools while ensuring security and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with teams.
