What you'll do

Design and deliver innovative software solutions including architecture, development, and complex technical troubleshooting.
Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by others.
Identify recurring issues to drive automation and remediation for improved system stability and resilience.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical capabilities.
Build and lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of emerging technologies.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-assisted tools regarding security, performance, and peer review.
Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to increase value across development workflows.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
At least 5 years of applied experience in software engineering.
Proven team leadership skills and hands-on software development experience.
Advanced knowledge and experience with C#/.NET.
In-depth knowledge of Capital markets, trading industry IT systems, and cloud-native technologies.
Advanced experience developing multi-threaded applications and building middle-tier services at scale.
Experience with message distribution technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
