What you'll do

Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs.
Perform parametric, data, and statistical analysis to support production test programs.
Conduct engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield and coverage for production ramps.
Resolve production-related issues and improve efficiency with multi-functional teams.
Build and maintain technical documentation for next-generation AMD microprocessors.
Debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for new microprocessors.
Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance and test sensitivities.

What we're looking for

You must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program at a US-based university.
Major must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge or experience with C++, Linux, Perl, Ruby, Shell script, Java, or similar is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS, or similar version control is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms is encouraged (preferred).
Knowledge or experience with logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debug is encouraged (preferred).
A solid understanding of transistors and computer basics is encouraged (preferred).
Completion of courses in computer science, software engineering, digital logic, circuit theory, or computer architecture is encouraged (preferred).
