What you'll do

Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs.
Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage, and production ramp goals.
Resolve production-related issues and improve manufacturing efficiency with multi-functional teams.
Build and maintain technical documentation for next-generation microprocessors.
Debug manufacturing and characterization test programs.
Participate in product debug and characterization to identify performance and process sensitivities.

What we're looking for

You must be currently enrolled in a US-based university undergraduate degree program.
Major must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge or experience with C++, Linux, Perl, Ruby, Shell script, Java, or similar is encouraged (preferred).
Experience with GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS, or similar version control systems is encouraged (preferred).
Familiarity with XP, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms is encouraged (preferred).
Proficiency with logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debugging tools is encouraged (preferred).
A solid understanding of transistors and computer basics is encouraged (preferred).
Completion of coursework in computer science, software engineering, digital logic, circuit theory, or computer architecture is encouraged (preferred).
