Finance Data Analyst Intern

What you'll do

• Build and maintain automations to replace manual steps in month-end close, reporting, and planning workflows.
• Write SQL and Python against the Databricks financial data warehouse to pull, clean, and analyze data.
• Design self-serve dashboards and tools for finance partners and department owners to access data independently.
• Apply AI to finance workflows by building prompts, agents, and reusable skills while testing for accuracy.
• Set up scheduled tasks and data refreshes to ensure recurring deliverables run automatically.
• Partner with business owners to identify bottlenecks and design documented process improvements.
• Build checks to catch data issues early, such as miscoded charges or duplicate spend.
• Manage projects from initial idea through build, testing, and final handoff.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Demonstrate strong Excel skills and the ability to build clean, traceable models.
• Have a basic understanding of financial statements and how a P&L is built.
• Demonstrate fluency with AI tools and prompt engineering to improve output quality.
• Possess clear written and verbal communication skills to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, building AI agents, or prior internships in FP&A or data analytics (preferred).
