As a 2026 Junior Analyst, Threat Intelligence, you will join the Threat Intelligence team to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate external physical safety threats to personnel, assets, and operations. You will perform real-time global monitoring, triage potential threats such as natural disasters or geopolitical escalations, and conduct in-depth research from publicly available sources to provide context for escalation. Your daily responsibilities include drafting written intelligence products like spot reports and alerts, performing data entry, and maintaining situational awareness of global trends. To succeed, you will utilize specialized third-party SaaS tools including Dataminr, Factal, and AlertMedia alongside internal platforms. The role requires strong research and writing skills, an understanding of the intelligence cycle, and proficiency in analytical techniques to solve complex problems regarding regional instability and corporate security risks within a fast-paced environment.
Detect and triage potential threats like natural disasters and geopolitical escalations using specialized tools and internal platforms.
Conduct in-depth research from public sources to qualify emerging threats and provide context for escalation.
Draft written intelligence products including spot reports, alerts, and daily updates for leadership review.
Gather information for deep threat assessments regarding activist targeting or regional instability.
Follow established standard operating procedures and protocols to communicate threats to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Maintain situational awareness of global events that could impact company personnel, facilities, or operations.
Perform administrative tasks including data input, analysis, database management, and recordkeeping.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master's in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Defense Studies, Security Studies, Journalism, or a related research-heavy field.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information or facilities.
1+ years of job or internship experience in threat intelligence, corporate security, think tank, GSOC, military, or related analytical roles (preferred).
Exceptional research and writing skills with knowledge of credible sourcing, analytical writing standards, and proofreading (preferred).
Familiarity with the intelligence cycle and fundamental analytical techniques (preferred).
Regional or language expertise, or experience living, studying, or working abroad (preferred).
Military experience or in-depth knowledge of the military/defense sector (preferred).
Understanding of corporate/physical security, duty-of-care standards, or physical risk management (preferred).
