Web Application Development Intern

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and corporate application systems for internal and external users.
• Analyze and translate user requirements into functional application designs and system modifications.
• Architect program specifications and business logic for new and existing software.
• Write, test, and maintain computer programs following established workflow methodologies.
• Debug and resolve technical issues through research and investigation.
• Create and update user manuals and technical documentation for software changes.
• Support existing applications and provide training or presentations as needed.

What we're looking for

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related subject.
• Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
• Must be available to work a night and weekend rotation.
• Must have hands-on experience in object-oriented languages/frameworks, relational database management systems, and web technologies.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have excellent design and documentation skills.
• Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
