As a Virtuoso Custom CAD Engineer within the Silicon Technologies group, you will provide critical infrastructure support for digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs. You will be responsible for supporting Cadence custom flows, including tool development, installation, maintenance, and configuration. Your daily work involves collaborating with design and layout teams to develop utilities and scripts, manage release flows based on revision control systems, and drive methodologies to increase productivity. You will also perform test development, automation, and regression flow support while maintaining relevant documentation. The role requires proficiency in Python programming and experience with Unix/Linux operating systems. Technical expertise includes Cadence Composer Virtuoso, Layout tools, VXL, PCELLs, CDFs, and additional languages such as DFII, SKILL, Perl, and Tcl to solve complex challenges in high-performance, power-efficient display and image sensor technologies.
