Vice President, Platform Architecture serves as the senior architectural authority for the Applied AI, Data & UX organization. This leader defines and governs the long-term architectural vision across a portfolio including the Commercial Data Fabric, Agentic Development Frameworks, and Unified UX Framework. The role involves establishing technical standards for system design, integration, scalability, and security while managing architecture artifacts like decision records and integration patterns. Define and own the long-term architecture strategy for AI, data, UX, and platform products.
Establish technical standards for system design, integration, scalability, resilience, and security.
Provide architectural oversight for the Commercial Data Fabric and agentic platforms including multi-agent orchestration and guardrails.
Embed security, compliance, and regulatory requirements into all architectural patterns from inception.
Serve as a strategic advisor to executives on technology investments, vendor selection, and build-versus-buy decisions.
Develop multi-year architecture roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
Mentor and develop principal architects and senior engineering leaders within the organization.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an MBA (preferred).
15+ years of software engineering experience with at least 8 years in enterprise, platform, or systems architecture roles.
5+ years of senior technology leadership experience managing architects and engineering leaders within global, matrixed organizations.
Proven track record developing and executing architecture strategies across complex, multi-platform environments.
Deep expertise in AI/ML engineering, data platforms, distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise governance.
Experience within financial services, payments, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and leading strategic platform evaluations, vendor assessments, and build-versus-buy decisions.
