Vice President, Head of Storage Technology

What you'll do

• Architect and oversee the enterprise-wide storage strategy for on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments.
• Define and execute the roadmap for integrating enterprise storage arrays with software-defined and cloud-native services.
• Oversee the engineering and operations of block, file, object, and backup/recovery storage products.
• Implement automated data tiering policies to optimize storage costs and performance.
• Architect low-latency block storage for mission-critical databases and scalable file systems for distributed workloads.
• Manage a global team of over 50 storage and software engineers.
• Ensure data protection, encryption, and regulatory compliance across all hybrid storage environments.
• Execute large-scale data migrations from legacy hardware to software-defined storage solutions.

What we're looking for

• 10-15+ years of experience in IT across a broad range of technologies.
• 5-10 years of specific experience working in server and storage infrastructure technologies.
• Experience overseeing Block, File, Object, and Backup/Recovery products, including software-defined storage solutions.
• Expertise in Object (S3/Blob/CAS), Block (NVMe/SAN/iSCSI), and File (NFS/SMB/Parallel) storage protocols.
• Proven experience in large-scale data migrations from legacy hardware to software-defined storage in private, public, or hybrid clouds.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) in a storage context.
• Experience managing a team of 50+ storage and software engineers around the globe.
• Experience in supporting enterprise mission-critical environments with crisis and problem management skills.
