The (USA) Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III, Information Security joins the Information Security team to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions. The work involves managing cryptographic protocols like TLS and SSH to solve complex cybersecurity challenges and maintain trust within a large-scale e-commerce digital ecosystem.
Design and execute standards for cryptography, PKI, and key management across the enterprise.
Build internal tools and automation to modernize certificate lifecycle management.
Deliver analytics to improve visibility, reliability, and operational efficiency of security systems.
Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to develop scalable tooling solutions for complex pain points.
Implement production-ready changes to minimize operational risk and improve service resilience.
Communicate security standards and best practices to stakeholders to improve platform operations.
Maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions while ensuring compliance with risk management frameworks.
What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and systems and infrastructure engineering experience.
Option 2: 4 years of experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
3–5 years of software engineering experience, including SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles.
Experience with certificate lifecycle management, CLM platforms, PKI, and TLS certificate troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure and containerized environments.
Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols like TLS and SSH, as well as algorithms and their implementations.
Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC (preferred); Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
