The (USA) Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer joins the Enterprise Directory Services Core team to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions. Key responsibilities include optimizing domain controller infrastructure, integrating Active Directory with cloud-based identity platforms, and developing automation frameworks, monitoring platforms, and alerting solutions. The engineer will utilize scripting languages including PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python to automate operational tasks. Required expertise encompasses systems engineering, configuration management, and infrastructure maintenance. The role addresses the technical challenge of ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing directory services, specifically managing Active Directory and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services to reduce legacy authentication dependencies across large-scale enterprise environments.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for enterprise Active Directory services across multi-domain and hybrid environments.
Modernize domain controller infrastructure through various service optimization initiatives.
Integrate Active Directory with cloud-based identity platforms to reduce legacy authentication dependencies.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks, monitoring platforms, and alerting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and escalation support for other engineers.
Analyze infrastructure performance metrics to develop capacity plans aligned with business requirements.
Manage Active Directory and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services for large-scale enterprise environments.
What we're looking for
Obtain a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or a related area and 4 years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering.
Obtain 6 years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility, or virtualization-related technologies.
Demonstrate solid experience in IT infrastructure, Enterprise IAM, Active Directory, cloud-based identity, and access management adoption.
Demonstrate proven expertise in systems engineering, infrastructure maintenance, and configuration management.
Maintain proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python to automate operational tasks.
Possess hands-on experience managing Active Directory and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services for enterprise environments.
Utilize software engineering skills to support the integration and development of infrastructure components.
Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in configuration management, automation, and SLO/SLI management (preferred).
