As a Staff, Software Engineer, Information Security, you will join the Information Security Reliability Engineering & Operational Excellence team to lead the design and development of scalable, resilient platforms. You will build automation, observability, and AI-enabled solutions to reduce operational toil, accelerate incident response, and enhance system availability for critical security services. Your daily work involves designing cloud-native architectures, implementing Site Reliability Engineering best practices, and mentoring engineers. You will utilize programming languages including Python, Go, Java, or C# alongside technologies such as Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible. Additionally, you will implement observability tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry. What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and experience in software engineering.
Option 2: 6 years of experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C# to build scalable distributed systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
Hands-on experience implementing observability solutions using tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
Experience designing highly available systems, driving incident management, root cause analysis, and building AI-enabled engineering workflows.
Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience leading information security projects (preferred); Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred).
