As a Distinguished, Software Engineer – Mobile & AI Experiences, you will join the team building AI-powered shopping experiences for iOS and Android. You will define the architecture for next-generation AI-driven experiences, providing system-level leadership across native clients, experience services, APIs, and AI platform integrations. Your daily responsibilities include establishing scalable patterns for dynamic, multimodal, and agentic mobile experiences while driving reliability, performance, and security across the end-to-end stack. You will utilize Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose, and backend service architectures to solve complex technical problems in commerce. The role requires mentoring Principal and Staff engineers and translating long-term AI strategy into durable technical execution. Extensive experience architecting large-scale native iOS and Android applications and supporting distributed systems.
Deep expertise in Swift/SwiftUI and/or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose with strong cross-platform architectural depth.
Strong backend and distributed-systems expertise, including APIs, service architecture, real-time systems, and cloud platforms.
Track record of mentoring Principal and Staff engineers and demonstrating technical influence across multiple organizations.
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, streaming, multimodal, or agentic systems (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
