As a Distinguished, Software Engineer – AI Shopping Experiences, you will provide system-level technical leadership for platforms powering next-generation AI-driven shopping. Joining the team building technology for intuitive, personalized, and actionable customer journeys, you will own critical architectural decisions across mobile, AI, and supporting platform capabilities. Your daily responsibilities include translating long-term domain strategy into scalable enterprise systems, establishing engineering standards for reliability, scalability, and observability, and mentoring Principal and Staff engineers. You will work with distributed systems, backend technologies, and mobile platforms to solve complex cross-domain initiatives. The role specifically requires expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems to create reusable architectural foundations that enable the safe and rapid delivery of AI-powered commerce experiences across the entire customer journey.

Extensive experience architecting and operating large-scale, enterprise-grade consumer platforms and distributed systems.
Deep expertise across mobile, backend, platform architecture, and AI systems.
Proven ability to own architecture and technical strategy spanning multiple platforms and organizations.
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, agentic systems, or AI platforms (preferred).
Experience mentoring Principal and Staff engineers and developing technical leaders.
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
