Traffic and Secure Services Network SRE Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate highly available infrastructure for global traffic routing and load balancing.
• Implement secure connectivity solutions including TLS termination and secure network communications.
• Automate deployments, alert triage, certificate rotation, and self-service workflows.
• Develop and maintain production-grade tooling and services using modern programming languages.
• Proactively monitor systems and perform engineering tasks to prevent incidents before they occur.
• Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and conduct blameless postmortems to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines to support cloud-native proxies or service meshes.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in traffic management, networking infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• 3+ years of software engineering or reliability engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language like Golang, Rust, Python, Java, or bash (preferred).
• Understanding of load balancing, TLS, and secure network communications in large-scale environments (preferred).
• Experience with cloud-native proxies, service mesh technologies, DevOps culture, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (preferred).
• Proven success delivering robust, diagnosable systems in 24x7 customer-facing environments (preferred).
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively across time zones and disciplines (preferred).
