Touch HW EE Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute validation and characterization methodologies for touch solutions from proof-of-concept to mass production.
• Architect hardware and software infrastructure to support innovative testing solutions.
• Create analytical models to understand how test systems interact with touch sensors.
• Design metrics and figures-of-merit to guide touch design and performance tracking.
• Perform failure mode analysis using advanced tools to diagnose root causes.
• Manage vendors to implement validation tools, plans, and infrastructure.
• Translate complex, open-ended testing problems into executable plans for multi-functional teams.
• Author technical reports and communications regarding key concepts, results, and project checkpoints.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree required; MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience owning validation and test efforts for analog, mixed-signal, or sensor products.
• Fundamental knowledge of physics, circuit design, statistics, and analog circuit/signals analysis.
• Proficiency in data visualization and statistical analysis tools such as Tableau, SpotFire, JMP, Python, or Matlab.
• High proficiency in software and algorithm prototyping using scripting languages like Matlab or Python.
• Experience in hardware prototyping, Design of Experiments (DoE), and Failure Analysis/Corrective Action (FA/CA).
• Experience with touch technology is preferred.
• Excellent project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
