We are seeking a dedicated Engineer to join our Mechanical Controls team within FBM, focusing on the Post Boost Control System (PBCS) Integration and Test Process Team. This role involves developing comprehensive test plans and documentation, translating hardware requirements into clear test objectives, and coordinating with technical SMEs, analysis teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution of tests. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed test information sheets, collaborating with system engineers and software developers, and overseeing setup and validation processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in system or test engineering, familiarity with various test disciplines, and proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or LabVIEW. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system or test engineering with design, development, and integration exposure.
  • Strong technical expertise in testing electrical/mechanical hardware, including planning, designing, and executing tests.
  • Familiarity with various test disciplines such as functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Willingness to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
  • Experience establishing and implementing comprehensive test requirements and plans.
  • Programming skills in languages like C++, Python, or LabVIEW preferred.
