What you'll do

Develop custom simulators to model ship system behaviors using Simulink, LabVIEW, or Java.
Create custom test equipment used for construction grooming and ship system qualification.
Perform requirements verification of SWS components for both US and UK submarine systems.
Develop software for hardware ranging from PLCs to embedded systems running Linux and Windows.
Design and develop test procedures to support the design certification of simulators and tactical systems.
Manage contractor and vendor interfaces to ensure project completion.
Integrate government furnished equipment and systems into submarine designs across the full lifecycle.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience managing contractor or vendor interfaces.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense.
Experience in military submarine system development, operations, installation, or test and evaluation.
Understanding and experience applying the principles of Systems Engineering.
Experience with SWS/SWSS systems.
Experience presenting technical or programmatic content to stakeholders.
