As an AI/ML Data Architect, you will join the team to shape, design, and implement enterprise-scale AI systems that advance mission objectives. You will be responsible for developing architectural visions, reference designs, integration patterns, and governance frameworks to ensure the ethical and secure use of artificial intelligence. Your daily work involves partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps while ensuring solutions are scalable and resilient. The role requires expertise in machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern integration architectures, specifically involving the deployment and scaling of AI solutions on AWS. You will solve complex problems related to modernization and workflow improvement within the Intelligence Community. Candidates must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and demonstrate proficiency in designing data-driven solutions for high-stakes environments.
Design and develop AI system architectures, reference designs, and integration patterns.
Define technical standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for ethical and secure AI use.
Translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical solutions and roadmap goals.
Ensure all AI systems are scalable, resilient, and compliant with applicable policies.
Implement AI capabilities to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, and modernize operations.
Communicate complex technical concepts to leadership and non-technical audiences to inform decision-making.
What we're looking for
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
6+ years of experience architecting and implementing AI/ML systems or data-driven solutions.
Experience deploying and scaling AI solutions on AWS.
Experience guiding teams through the development and deployment of AI models and analytics solutions.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern integration architectures.
Ability to translate business challenges into technical approaches that meet mission and enterprise goals.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, AI, or Data Science) with 1+ years of experience, or 4+ years of experience without a degree.
Experience with enterprise transformation initiatives, strong communication skills, or a Master's degree in a technical field (preferred).
