As a Technical AI Requirements Systems Engineer, you will join the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to perform hands-on technical execution for an enterprise application integrating AI-enabled capabilities. The role requires expertise in Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Amazon Web Services cloud architecture. You will also evaluate AI architectures, assess model performance, and identify integration tradeoffs while leveraging your knowledge of modern machine learning advancements to solve complex problems within the enterprise application domain.

What you'll do

Define low-level requirements and technical specifications for AI-enabled enterprise application features.
Translate high-level customer requirements into actionable Jira user stories and epics for development teams.
Conduct functional testing of new software features to ensure they meet mission-driven requirements.
Serve as a technical liaison between customers, system engineers, developers, and AI solution stakeholders.
Present and articulate recommended AI approaches and implementation tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Identify practical opportunities to apply emerging AI/ML capabilities to existing enterprise systems.
Coordinate the design and development of AI-driven solutions from initial conception through deployment.
Evaluate AI architectures and assess model performance to identify system-level integration tradeoffs.

What we're looking for

Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required.
8+ years of related experience required.
Familiarity with Java/JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and AWS cloud architecture is required.
Ability to elicit requirements from customers and translate them into technical specifications and Jira user stories is required.
Experience conducting functional testing and serving as a technical liaison for cross-functional teams is required.
Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
