What you'll do

Build AI-powered platforms that enable engineers to explore, analyze, and act on complex program data.
Design data infrastructure to integrate diverse knowledge sources with appropriate access controls for AI systems.
Create reproducible analysis workflows with full provenance tracking to ensure the reliability of AI-generated insights.
Develop agentic pipelines to automate multi-step research and analysis while maintaining human-in-the-loop oversight.
Build infrastructure for continuous, automated intelligence including CI-integrated analysis and background monitoring.
Design collaboration systems that allow cross-functional teams to share and leverage institutional knowledge.
Partner with algorithm teams to identify data challenges and deliver scalable tooling for various Apple products.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python and at least one systems-level language such as Swift or TypeScript.
Experience designing and building backend services, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure.
Hands-on experience building with modern AI/agent frameworks and retrieval pipelines like RAG or vector search.
Experience evaluating and iterating on AI system outputs through evaluation pipelines and feedback loops.
Strong software architecture and API design skills to build systems rather than just scripts.
Proven ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and disciplines.
