What you'll do

  • Develop scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl to automate tasks and monitor performance.
  • Support MPI-based workloads and distributed computing architectures to ensure consistent delivery of forecasting products.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical 24/7 mission systems.

What we're looking for

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • 15+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with Linux system administration (Rocky/SLES preferred).
  • Experience with HPC batch schedulers such as PBS Pro, Slurm, or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and Perl.
