Systems Engineer, Camera & Edit

What you'll do

• Maintain the systems architecture for sensor-level signing, on-device RAW capture, and cloud-based processing.
• Design and implement cryptographic key rotation, certificate lifecycle management, and revocation frameworks.
• Threat-model end-to-end media authenticity workflows to ensure cryptographic integrity and data privacy.
• Evaluate and advance image container formats to support secure provenance and authenticity metadata.
• Coordinate with cloud infrastructure teams to ensure signing and certificate systems scale securely.
• Resolve cross-team technical dependencies and blockers across hardware, software, and privacy workstreams.
• Scope and plan technical requirements for future hardware generations.
• Write code to fill functional gaps within the systems engineering team.

What we're looking for

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Working knowledge of cryptographic signing and verification, including certificates, secure boot, key management, and revocation.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholder teams on ambiguous requirements and communicate technical tradeoffs to both engineers and non-engineers.
• Experience with image and media pipelines, including RAW processing, ISP behavior, and DNG, JPEG, and HEIF formats (preferred).
• Experience with distributed cloud infrastructure and confidential compute environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with trusted time stamping and international privacy and regulatory requirements (preferred).
• Experience shipping flagship security features or building third-party applications using sensitive capabilities (preferred).
