Systems Administrator, Vulnerability Mitigation

What you'll do

• Lead the execution of vulnerability remediation and system hardening across a Windows-based enterprise environment.
• Research remediation options and assess potential system impacts before implementing fixes like patching and configuration changes.
• Implement and refine security configurations based on STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and INFOSEC guidance.
• Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings and account policies.
• Disable insecure protocols and maintain secure cipher suites and encryption standards across systems.
• Provide evidence and documentation for patching and hardening to maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) and system accreditation.
• Coordinate with the WUS team to execute Windows patching and validate post-deployment results.
• Track remediation progress and provide clear status reporting to technical stakeholders and clients.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of experience.
• Must have a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of prior relevant experience (preferred).
• Must have 16 years of relevant career experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have experience with both Windows and Linux systems.
• Must have Client/Server experience.
• Must be able to pass a customer-required medical and psychological screening.
