As a System Software Engineer - GPU and SOC, you will join the GPU Software team to craft and debug critical components of production GPU and SOC kernel drivers and embedded software. Your daily responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and debugging changes within the software stack to transition next-generation hardware from the development stage to production across datacenter systems, desktops, notebooks, workstations, and gaming consoles. You will be heavily involved in emulation, bringup, and product hardening while focusing on platform performance, power savings, and robustness. The role requires expert C/C++ programming skills and a deep understanding of computer system architecture, including caches, buses, memory controllers, and DMA. You must possess strong operating systems fundamentals with Linux or Windows kernel experience. Additional expertise in Windows Driver Models, such as WDDM or MCDM, is highly valued for this position.
