The System Engineer Sr. joins the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to manage the design, administrative operation, and maintenance of server hardware and software. What you'll do

Manage the design, administrative operation, and maintenance of server hardware and software.
Maintain system security by monitoring logs and remedying attempts to penetrate or corrupt server files.
Develop baseline configurations and direct the modification of configuration settings.
Create troubleshooting procedures and incident response plans to resolve system-related problems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced administrators and engineers.
Develop and modify software programs and applications to enhance operating system functionality.
Perform troubleshooting for technicians and end users utilizing the ServiceNow ticketing system.
Create effective technical documentation and user manuals for information systems.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have 5+ years of related experience.
Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022).
Must have strong experience with server virtualization using VMWare and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Must have experience with PowerShell Scripting and systems automation.
Must have full technical knowledge of all phases of systems engineering.
Must have experience with Opentext Livelink and administering Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
Must have excellent communication skills and experience creating effective technical documentation.
ITIL v3 Foundation certification (preferred).
Ability to multi-task and stay up to date with MECM trends (preferred).
