As a Supplier Business Manager in the Global Supply Chain Management organization at Lam Research, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our Computers/Controllers commodity by driving supplier performance against key metrics and commitments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure business continuity and efficient delivery within available capacity. What you'll do
Define and monitor metrics to ensure supplier performance aligns with annual operating plan objectives.
Drive process improvements related to procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies.
Motivate suppliers to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Represent supply chain management in cross-functional teams addressing supply challenges.
Develop presentations and white papers to support continuous process improvement projects.
Work with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex issues for timely material delivery.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Applied Sciences with 8+ years of experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry working with global suppliers.
Strong business acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management practices.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems and drive successful resolutions.
Experience in process improvement and deployment of best known methods in procurement and inventory control.
