Software Development Internship

What you'll do

• Deliver new features and improve reliability for core services including customer intake and application screening.
• Identify and proactively address major system bottlenecks and flaws in business logic.
• Take ownership of core product problems and develop data-driven solutions that work at scale.
• Work across the full stack to solve problems independently without relying on other teams.
• Write production code to ship major features rather than focusing on documentation or roadmaps.
• Perform performance tuning on complex software systems using Python or Java.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be currently enrolled as a senior in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or another STEM field.
• Must have at least one semester remaining in studies after the internship concludes.
• Must be proficient in Java or Python.
• Must possess strong communication, problem-solving, and learning skills.
• Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to obtain a SAC/Temp 5C public trust.
• Must have experience with performance tuning (preferred).
