Software Development Internship

What you'll do

• Deliver new features and improve reliability for core services including customer intake and application screening.
• Identify and proactively address major system bottlenecks and flaws in business logic.
• Take ownership of core product problems and develop data-driven solutions that scale.
• Work across the full stack to solve problems independently without relying on other teams.
• Write production-ready code in Python or Java to solve complex technical problems.
• Perform performance tuning on existing software systems.
• Participate in a mentoring circle and professional development programs.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be currently enrolled as a senior in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or another STEM field.
• Must have at least one semester of study remaining after the internship concludes.
• Proficiency in Java or Python is required.
• Must possess strong communication, problem-solving, and learning skills.
• Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to obtain a SAC/Temp 5C public trust.
• Experience with performance tuning and ability to solve complex problems is preferred.
