What you'll do

  • Design, build, and test features for Intuit's Android applications from the UI to backend services.
  • Write clean, well-tested Kotlin and Java code while participating in peer code reviews.
  • Debug and resolve defects across the application stack from the user interface down.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into functional software.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate workflows and share findings with the team.
  • Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of features shipped to production.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship.
  • Experience building Android applications, ideally with Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with Android application architecture and development frameworks such as Jetpack, Coroutines, and MVVM.
  • Working knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Python.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems.
  • Comfort partnering with designers and backend engineers to connect mobile apps to cloud-based APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
