What you'll do

  • Develop technical solutions for real-world engineering challenges within the powerplant and propulsion field.
  • Apply knowledge of turbine engine theory, operations, and nacelle or thrust reverser systems to projects.
  • Perform cause and effect analysis and conduct technical writing for engineering documentation.
  • Utilize CATIA software to support design and engineering tasks.
  • Use Matlab, Python, or VBA to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to aircraft systems engineering.
  • Participate in the development of advanced propulsion technologies for business jet aircraft.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding) and include it on the resume.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Interest in and working knowledge of aircraft propulsion systems including turbine engine theory and operations (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems engineering (preferred).
  • Critical thinking, technical writing, cause and effect analysis, and understanding of probabilities (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CATIA, Matlab, Python, or VBA (preferred).
