Electrical Engineering Intern

What you'll do

• Develop moderately complex electrical systems and sub-systems.
• Apply mathematical and engineering methods to electrical system designs.
• Develop functional specifications for electrical, electro-mechanical systems, and power distribution.
• Contribute to research efforts involving data.
• Design and modify custom and OEM system components with a multidisciplinary team.
• Troubleshoot systems using network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs.

What we're looking for

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Very good oral, written, and presentation skills in English.
• Solid understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems, signals, and controls theory.
• System level understanding of electrical architecture, IO controllers, applications, and power panel circuit design.
• Working knowledge of PCB/low voltage circuit design and applicable standards like UL, CE, IEC, and SEMI.
• Knowledge of CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, or equivalent packages for circuit design and simulation.
• Experience in power distribution and/or control system design (preferred).
• Proficiency in SPICE, LabView, MathCAD, MatLab, or analysis tools like HFSS and Comsol (preferred).
